His Word is the lamp
and the light.
The lamp and light of Psalm 119:105 speak of divine illumination. God’s Word opens our understanding so that we can discern what is true, recognize what is before us, and perceive the way He is leading. Without understanding, we may look and still not see. His Word gives the inward light by which truth becomes clear.
